Falling in love with lilac shoes

As I went through my closet to figure out what I can pack, give away, or keep I run into the same problem every year. As much as I try to add color I still end up with many black items. It’s a staple in my wardrobe.

When the seasons change I mix up my black and white clothing by buying colorful skirts and dresses. During a recent shopping trip I was looking at some shirts and from the corner of my eye a lilac pair of shoes caught my attention. I wanted to try them on. They were a pair of Steve Madden Trufle platform sandals. I didn’t even have to look in the mirror. I knew I was in love with them. To top it all off, three women gave me compliments. A man complimenting is great but it means so much more when a woman compliments you.

So if you’re like me and have a lot of black and white tops in your wardrobe try some colorful shoes.
