The new boyfriend shorts for summer
The summer shorts young girls and women are talking about this year are boyfriend shorts. Boyfriend shorts also come with a lot of questions: Should I wear them? How do I wear them? What lengths do they come in? They look so baggy, etc. They are called boyfriend because they are to be worn loose, however you can dress them up if you want. I am in my thirties with two kids and I don’t want to wear daisy duke length shorts or elastic band shorts. I like the boyfriend shorts because they come in different lengths, are trendy and they allow me to be casual or dress them up.
This is a look that has dressed up the boyfriend shorts. A simple t-shirt and light jacket paired with flats is quite nice. You can accessorize them with a gold necklace and some bangles. For an edgy look put on a tank top or form fitting t-shirt with a vest and gladiator pumps.
Some of my favorite boyfriend shorts are J Brand Bobby Boyfriend Roll Up shorts by Clyde. It’s a baggy fit and sits low. Nobody Distressed Boyfriend Short by Wily. And for a shorter pair get the Vigoss Stretch Denim Boyfriend Short.

what if you’re really short (like 5′1) and not slender? would a short like this work?

Thank you for visiting my blog and yes you can absolutely wear these shorts! Keep the look crisp though such as wearing a cami with a black vest and you can wear flats but opt for gladiator style. You may want to find a shorter pair of boyfriend style shorts. Victoria Secret has a pair that are inexpensive and are really cute. Hope this helps.

You would want to find the longer boyfriend shorts and where a heel. Keep it relaxed, fun but not sloppy.
